For those who want more functionality, they’ve designed an optional OLED Driver Information Display (DID) that simply replaces the standard horn cap. This display allows the driver to see telemetry data such as real time speed thanks to our integrated CAN bus support. Our DID system also enables on the fly button layout mapping and profile switching, eliminating the need to connect the hub to a computer for MadtraceLAB programming. Additionally, the DID lets the driver adjust both display brightness and RGB customizable button colors for a fully personalized experience.

 

PODIUM Line Optional Dual-Paddle Functionality

For the first time ever in a racing steering wheel system designed for OEM vehicles, they’ve engineered a motorsport grade dual paddle setup made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, giving drivers more control than ever before. All four paddles are fully programmable, allowing users to assign any function they need, not just shifting.

This system also supports manual transmission vehicles, so even MT drivers can take advantage of customizable paddle functions.

Every PODIUM or CLUBSPORT Line racing steering wheel system from JQ Werks can be equipped with the optional OLED Driver Information Display, positioned directly beneath the RevLED shift lights. With integrated CAN bus support, the display can show telemetry data such as real time vehicle speed.

 

The OLED Driver Information Display replaces the standard horn button cap and adds on the fly button layout mapping and profile switching, so drivers can make changes without connecting the hub to a computer for MadtraceLAB programming. It also allows adjustment of display brightness and RGB customizable button colors for a more personalized setup.

With the JQ Werks Madtrace 6061-T billet aluminum 6x74mm steering wheel adapter, you can easily fit any steering wheel with a 6x74mm bolt pattern (ex: Nardi steering wheels). Simply remove the four T10 screws and take off the original horn cap. Replace it with the new horn cap, then install the ring using the provided hardware.

 

Comes in a 6061-T hard anodized billet aluminum housing to match with the racing steering wheel hub.

The Madtrace 6061 T billet aluminum MOMO Horn Cap Adapter is made for the Madtrace steering wheel hub system, allowing most MOMO size horn caps to mount properly.

To install, open the factory MOMO horn cap, remove the spring and top piece, and transfer them into the adapter. Ensure the spring contacts both copper rings, reinstall the back cover, then fasten the assembly onto the hub.

Drivers regularly see high oil temperatures completely stock and even higher on modified examples. In testing, CSF observed temperatures over 275°F (135°C) on the track, and it was clear the FL5 needed a solution. The engineering team set out to develop CSF's first ever complete engine oil cooler kit, and the results speak for themselves. CSF's new engine oil cooler kit is the "Real Deal" with stunning performance and an aggressive look to match.

CSF spent over a year in testing and development of this kit working with R&D Partners and multiple drivers competing in Global Time Attack (GTA) and GridLife. Initial testing was performed in the controlled environment of a dyno. CSF then moved into aggressive real world testing and development on the track where most customers would be using these kits.

CSF has a long and successful track record with Honda cooling systems. This history includes making factory radiators for Honda Performance Development (HPD). Honda utilized the CSF private label HPD Race Radiator for the FK8 Civic Type R TCR and recently took delivery of a new system CSF developed for the FL5. CSF used the information and experience from building this Race Radiator to design a High-Performance version that would be available to the masses. Like the racing radiator, this new High-Performance version features CSF's latest 5mm fin cooling technology. The new fin design increases the heat transfer area of the radiator by 20-25% over other larger fin designs.

The original OE radiator from Honda is a plastic tank with a single row aluminum core design. While this is generally accepted as good quality and durable, it is not the best option for high horsepower builds and hard driving. Turbo cars get hot, and the K20C1 is no exception. Anything you can do to help keep temperatures in check will improve longevity of your motor and components.

 

Just like the HPD Race Radiator, the CSF FL5 Civic Type R / DE5 Integra Type S Radiator features the latest 5mm fin technology. The smaller fins significantly increase the heat exchange surface area improving overall cooling efficiency. A larger 2-Row 42mm aluminum core increases the fluid capacity of the radiator, and improves the cores ability to dissipate heat. CSF's Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. Overall, testing has revealed that the CSF radiator decreases engine coolant temperatures by 6-8% compared to the factory radiator. The TIG-Welded 100% All Aluminum construction increases the overall strength of the radiator. This improves durability and longevity so you can be confident it will hold up to hard driving conditions. The CSF radiator mounts in the factory location and requires no modifications or cutting.

 

Testing was performed on a FL5 Civic Type R tuned to 294 whp and equipped with an upgraded/larger Front Mount Intercooler. The larger front mount intercooler has been shown to raise engine coolant temperatures by 7%. This is due to the airflow restriction over the radiator. Test results show a decrease of of 8 deg C engine coolant temperature with the CSF Radiator vs OEM. As you can see, a radiator upgrade will be very important to anyone running a larger intercooler. The upgraded radiator will also be beneficial to anyone tracking their car.
