Not for
everybody

At ADRO, we build aerodynamic parts that perform as well as they look. Most body kits are only designed to look fast. Ours are designed to follow your car’s lines, then tested in computer airflow simulation and refined until they add real downforce. It takes longer and costs more, which is why it isn’t for everybody.

How we work

How a part
gets made

Every number we publish comes from this process. We measure the stock car first, so every result is compared against where the car started. We also publish drag alongside downforce, since adding downforce always adds some.

  1. 01

    Scan

We 3D scan the factory car, so every part is built around its real surfaces instead of a drawing.

  2. 02

    Measure

Before designing anything, we run the stock car through computer airflow simulation (CFD) to measure its downforce, drag, and balance.

  3. 03

    Design

Our designers shape the part in CAD to follow the car’s own lines, refining it in clay where the form demands it.

  4. 04

    Test and refine

Our aerodynamicists test the design in the same simulation at 112 mph and adjust its shape until it adds downforce without upsetting the car’s balance.

  5. 05

    Produce

Each part is made in carbon fiber or polypropylene, the same material factory bumpers are made from, depending on what the part needs to do.

The team

Who builds it

Our team brings together aerospace engineers, Formula 1 aerodynamicists, automotive designers and master craftsmen, so every part is shaped by people who know both how a car should look and how air moves around it.

AOX

Our own
aero software

AOX (Aerodynamic Optimization eXperience) is the software we built to speed up aerodynamic development. Upload a design, choose the area to improve, and it runs the simulations and searches for a better shape on its own.
